Why am I being charged a stormwater fee?
Short answer
Some SC counties and cities charge a stormwater fee to pay for their stormwater programs. Check the line on your bill and your county or city's stormwater page to see what yours is for.
Where to look
Find the stormwater line on your property tax bill or utility bill and note who is charging it: your county, your city or a utility. Then check that office's stormwater page, or call the number on the bill.
